Welcome to Swamp Dog Club's website!! Swamp Dog Club is one of the oldest AKC retriever clubs in the United States, established in 1948. We are one of only two such clubs located in Pennsylvania. The primary purpose of the Swamp Dog Club is to hold AKC licensed field trials and hunt tests.

We are a non- profit organization that shares a common interest in retriever training and competition. A number of our members regularly train dogs and are willing to assist you, if you are serious about retriever training. Most of our membership lives in Pennsylvania, but we also have members from Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and New York.
